Under the hood, Global Nodes utilize geo-load balancing technology which enables intelligent routing of requests to the nearest server, reducing latency and delivering maximum performance.

By proactively monitoring node status, Global Nodes adapt to network conditions in real time providing instant failover to another node during network interruptions on a global scale. They also provide infinite scalability, reduce disconnection rates, and distribute workloads across multiple locations, resulting in enhanced performance and increased reliability for Web3 projects.

Finally, it helps developers deliver an improved user experience as it ensures the end-users receive a fast and responsive application engagement regardless of their geographical location. A new billing system to simplify your costs and usage

We’re also excited to introduce a new billing system after implementing feedback from our developer community. For the first time, we offer customers a unified monthly usage quota, combining the requests from Elastic Full and Archive Nodes, and Dedicated Subgraphs.

To make this possible, we’ve designed Request Units or RUs, providing our users with complete flexibility and granular control to allocate resources according to their needs, while still maintaining the simplicity of offering all methods at the same cost.

It is important to note that the different costs associated with Request Units only apply to the node itself. These rates apply to both, Global and Regional mode settings for your Elastic Nodes.

Here’s what it means if a user dedicates their entire quota to making requests to an Archive Node:

• Growth: Up to 10 million archive requests
• Business: Up to 70 million archive requests
• Enterprise: Up to 200 million archive requests

In short, users will receive up to 3x+ more archive requests compared to the included requests in the previous pricing scheme.
