FailSafe Security Grant: Empowering Web3 Builders with Safer Smart Contracts
We’re excited to team up with FailSafe on a new grant for Web3 builders. The FailSafe Security Grant gives early-stage teams access to professional smart contract audits with up to $25,000 in support to help projects launch safer and smarter.
When people talk about Web3’s biggest risks, security is always at the top. Exploits have drained billions from the ecosystem. Most teams don’t think about audits until they’re forced to — after raising, after shipping, or worse, after a breach. The FailSafe Security Grant, launched with support from Chainstack, is built to change that.
Security at Chainstack
We think about security on two levels: what runs under the hood, and what you build on top. On our side, that means:
- SOC 2 Type II certification, so our operations are independently audited and verified.
- Access Rules, to control exactly who can use your endpoints and how.
- 2FA and SSO for stronger account security.
Because we take infra security seriously, it made sense to team up with FailSafe, extending the same mindset to the smart contracts you deploy on top of Chainstack nodes.
About the FailSafe security grant
The FailSafe security grant provides up to $25,000 per project, or up to 50% of audit costs, for selected teams. Along with funding, recipients get:
- A comprehensive smart contract audit by FailSafe team
- Actionable recommendations to address findings
- A follow-up verification to confirm fixes are properly implemented
The grant is limited and will be awarded to teams demonstrating high potential impact and commitment to security.
Who it’s for
The FailSafe Security Grant is designed for:
- Early-stage Web3 startups preparing to launch tokens, dApps, or protocols.
- Builders and developers deploying smart contracts that will hold user funds or enable critical functionality.
- Ecosystem projects that want to reinforce security before scaling adoption.
Whether you’re a small team building an innovative DeFi mechanism, an NFT marketplace, or a cross-chain protocol, this grant helps you secure your contracts before they reach production.

Final note
Security isn’t the fun part of building, but it’s the part that decides whether your project survives first contact with users. We’re glad to team up with FailSafe on this grant and can’t wait to see what builders do with it.
Good luck to everyone applying, ship safe!
