Chainstack introduces Robinhood Chain support

We’re excited to announce that Chainstack now supports Robinhood Chain — an Ethereum Layer 2 for tokenized stocks and real-world assets, built on the Arbitrum Orbit stack with the Nitro client. Starting today, you can deploy production-ready nodes on Chainstack in under two minutes — on both Mainnet and Testnet, with debug and trace APIs enabled.

Why build on Robinhood Chain?

Robinhood Chain is a permissionless, Ethereum-compatible Layer 2 built to bring traditional financial assets onchain — starting with tokenized U.S. equities and extending to a broader class of real-world assets. It’s the infrastructure layer behind Robinhood’s push to move brokerage-grade financial products onto public blockchain rails.

  • Purpose-built for tokenized RWAs: The chain ships day-one with Robinhood’s Stock Tokens (tokenized U.S. equities), onchain lending, and agentic trading — designed around the operational realities of tokenized securities rather than retrofitting a general-purpose L2 for the job.
  • Arbitrum Orbit architecture: Robinhood Chain runs the same Nitro client that powers Arbitrum One, inheriting a battle-tested execution environment and full EVM compatibility. Existing Solidity contracts and Ethereum tooling work without modification.
  • Ethereum settlement, L2 performance: Robinhood Chain settles to Ethereum for L1-grade security while delivering ~100 ms transaction confirmations via Arbitrum Nitro preconfirmations — orders of magnitude faster than L1 block times.
  • Access to Robinhood’s distribution: Robinhood is positioning Robinhood Chain as the onchain layer that connects a mainstream retail brokerage user base to open financial infrastructure — a distribution channel no other RWA-focused L2 currently matches.

For developers, Robinhood Chain offers a familiar EVM environment optimized for one of the fastest-growing narratives in Web3 — tokenized stocks and RWAs — without the ecosystem cold-start problem that new L2s typically face.

Build better with Robinhood Chain on Chainstack

Running Robinhood Chain on Chainstack gives you reliable access and predictable performance for any workload — from brokerage integrations and RWA dashboards to onchain analytics and portfolio tooling. Chainstack provides:

  • Global Nodes — geo-balanced RPC endpoints for scalable, low-latency access
  • Dedicated Nodes — isolated resources for production workloads with strict performance requirements
  • Full and Archive nodes — recent state or complete chain history, matched to your workload
  • Debug and trace APIs — Nitro-native debug_* methods for transaction replay, call tracing, and smart-contract debugging
  • Mainnet and Testnet support — deploy against production or iterate safely against the testnet from a single dashboard
  • Standard Ethereum JSON-RPC compatibility — use MetaMask, ethers.js, viem, web3.py, Foundry, Hardhat, Remix, or any Ethereum-compatible tool you already have

  1. Log in to the Chainstack console (or create an account)
  2. Create a new project
  3. Select Robinhood Chain as your blockchain protocol
  4. Choose Mainnet (chain ID 4663) or Testnet (chain ID 46630), and pick Global for shared geo-balanced access or Dedicated for isolated resources
  5. Deploy the node
  6. Open Access and credentials and copy your HTTPS and WebSocket endpoints

Bringing it all together

With support for Robinhood Chain, Chainstack extends its infrastructure coverage into one of the most consequential shifts in Web3 — the migration of traditional financial assets onto public blockchain rails. If you’re building tokenized-equity products, RWA analytics, brokerage integrations, or any application that touches Robinhood Chain, Chainstack provides the low-latency, production-grade RPC infrastructure to scale with confidence — from the first testnet call to millions of Mainnet requests per day.
