We’re proud to announce our partnership with Tempo as part of their partner cohort, supporting teams bringing high-performance payments onchain.

As Tempo develops its payments-optimized chain, Chainstack will enable builders to run payment-first infrastructure with:

• Flat-fee Unlimited Nodes for scalable, high-volume workloads
• High-performance Dedicated Nodes designed for payment lanes and settlement flows

Full Chainstack support for Tempo — including Global Nodes and Dedicated Nodes — is planned for Q1 2026 with the Mainnet launch.

Tempo is a payments-native Layer 1 blockchain co-developed by Stripe and Paradigm, designed specifically for high-volume stablecoin transactions. Unlike general-purpose blockchains, Tempo focuses on predictable execution, built-in compliance, and real-world financial use cases such as merchant payouts, payroll, remittances, and global money movement.

Currently operating in a testnet, Tempo is building an ecosystem supported by partners such as Visa, Klarna, Deutsche Bank, Shopify, Revolut, OpenAI, and DoorDash, positioning itself as a serious contender in the rapidly growing landscape of blockchain-based payments.
