Chainstack introduces MegaETH support

Created Mar 6, 2026 Updated Mar 16, 2026
Chainstack MegaETH support

We’re excited to announce that Chainstack now supports the MegaETH — Ethereum’s fastest Layer 2, capable of processing up to 100,000 TPS with sub-10ms latency. Starting today, you can deploy a production-ready node in under two minutes, with no infrastructure overhead.

Why build on MegaETH?

MegaETH is designed to push Ethereum scalability to the limit while remaining fully EVM-compatible. It delivers significantly higher throughput and lower latency compared to Ethereum mainnet, enabling applications that require real-time responsiveness.

  • High throughput: Designed to process transactions at scale for demanding applications.
  • Low latency execution: Optimized for near real-time transaction confirmation.
  • Full EVM compatibility: Existing Ethereum smart contracts and tooling work without modification.
  • Ethereum security model: As a Layer 2, MegaETH leverages Ethereum for settlement and security.

For developers, MegaETH provides a scalable execution environment that preserves Ethereum’s developer experience while dramatically improving performance.

Build better with MegaETH on Chainstack

Running MegaETH on Chainstack means reliable access and predictable performance at any scale. Whether you’re building DeFi protocols, analytics platforms, wallets, or infrastructure services, Chainstack provides:

  • Global Nodes for scalable geo-balanced RPC access
  • Dedicated Nodes with isolated resources for production workloads
  • Reliable, low-latency RPC endpoints
  • Full compatibility with standard Ethereum JSON-RPC methods

How to get started with MegaETH on Chainstack

megaeth endpoint
  1. Log in to the Chainstack console (or create an account)
  2. Create a new project
  3. Select MegaETH as your blockchain protocol
  4. Deploy the node
  5. Open Access/Credentials and copy your HTTPS and WebSocket endpoints
  6. Connect your tools: Use familiar EVM toolchains such as ethers.js or web3.py.

⚠️ Network availability: MegaETH Mainnet is available on Global Nodes and Dedicated Nodes, while MegaETH Testnet is currently available on Dedicated Nodes.

Bringing it all together

With support for MegaETH, Chainstack expands its infrastructure offering for high-performance Ethereum Layer 2 networks. If your application demands speed, scalability, and EVM compatibility, MegaETH on Chainstack provides the foundation to build and scale with confidence.
