EVM tooling. Celo performance.

Celo runs on the OP Stack as an Ethereum L2, so the Ethereum tools you already use work against your Chainstack node.

EVM-compatible on the OP Stack

Use standard Ethereum JSON-RPC with ethers.js, web3.py, Hardhat, Foundry, and MetaMask. Chainstack runs Celo on op-reth with op-node.

Full and Archive access

Read recent state at 1 RU, or reach historical state in Archive mode, where methods such as eth_call and eth_getBalance on blocks 127 or more behind the tip cost 2 RU.

Celo methods →

WebSocket subscriptions

Subscribe to new heads and logs over WSS with eth_subscribe, and use eth_getLogs and filters for event pipelines.

API de débogage et de traçage

Debug and trace APIs are available on Global Nodes from a paid plan, and on every Dedicated Node, for tracing and indexer workloads.

var urlInfo = {

Learn more about Celo
Qu'est-ce que Celo?
Celo is an EVM-compatible Layer 2 on the OP Stack, originally launched as a mobile-first Layer 1 and focused on stablecoin payments. Mainnet chain ID is 42220.
How do I get a Celo RPC endpoint?
Create a free Chainstack account and sign in. Click Add node, select Celo, choose Mainnet, and deploy a Global Node or Dedicated Node. When the node is running, open Access and credentials to copy your endpoint.
What is the difference between a Celo Global Node and a Dedicated Node?
A Global Node provides shared, auto-scaling RPC access through geo-balanced infrastructure, available on every plan. A Dedicated Node provides isolated, single-tenant infrastructure with predictable performance and greater control over node configuration. Both are available for Celo Mainnet; Global Nodes run in Full and Archive modes.
Is the Celo RPC API compatible with Ethereum?
Yes. Celo exposes standard Ethereum JSON-RPC, so ethers.js, web3.py, Hardhat, and Foundry work as-is. Admin namespaces are not served; debug and trace APIs are available on paid plans.
Does Chainstack offer a Celo testnet?
Chainstack serves Celo Mainnet on Global Nodes and Dedicated Nodes. For testnet availability, see the Networks page.
Is the Celo RPC free?
Yes. The Developer plan is $0 and includes 3M request units per month at up to 25 requests per second. Full requests cost 1 RU, and archive requests cost 2 RU. Paid plans start at $49/month with 20M request units.
Quelles sont les garanties de disponibilité et de performance ?
Chainstack Global Nodes and Dedicated Nodes are built for highly available, low-latency production access. Custom uptime SLAs are available on the Enterprise plan.
How can I monitor Celo node usage and performance?
Utilisez les outils d'analyse d'node , disponibles sur Chainstack , pour suivre le volume des requêtes, le temps de réponse et l'état de santé d'node depuis un seul et même endroit.

Remarques concernant Celo

Celo is an Ethereum L2 built on the OP Stack and exposes standard Ethereum JSON-RPC: eth_*, net_*, and web3_*, including eth_subscribe over WSS. Chainstack runs Celo on op-reth with op-node. Mainnet chain ID is 42220. admin_* is not served. Debug and trace APIs are available on paid plans (Global Node or Dedicated Node) and cost 2 RU on Global Nodes. Recommended libraries are ethers.js for JavaScript and web3.py for Python. Full requests cost 1 RU, and EVM state methods such as eth_call et eth_getBalance on blocks 127 or more behind the tip are archive-depth and cost 2 RU.
