Celo何ですか？

Celo is an EVM-compatible Layer 2 on the OP Stack, originally launched as a mobile-first Layer 1 and focused on stablecoin payments. Mainnet chain ID is 42220.

How do I get a Celo RPC endpoint?

Create a free Chainstack account and sign in. Click Add node, select Celo, choose Mainnet or Celo Sepolia Testnet, and deploy a Global Node or Dedicated Node. When the node is running, open Access and credentials to copy your endpoint.

What is the difference between a Celo Global Node and a Dedicated Node?

A Global Node provides shared, auto-scaling RPC access through geo-balanced infrastructure, available on every plan. A Dedicated Node provides isolated, single-tenant infrastructure with predictable performance and greater control over node configuration. Global Nodes serve Celo Mainnet and the Celo Sepolia Testnet.

Is the Celo RPC API compatible with Ethereum?

Yes. Celo exposes standard Ethereum JSON-RPC, so ethers.js, web3.py, Hardhat, and Foundry work as-is. Admin namespaces are not served; debug and trace APIs are available on paid plans.

Does Chainstack offer a Celo testnet?

Yes. The Celo Sepolia Testnet (chain ID 11142220) is available on Global Nodes. Celo has deprecated the older Alfajores testnet.

Is the Celo RPC free?

Yes. The Developer plan is $0 and includes 3M request units per month at up to 25 requests per second. Full requests cost 1 RU, and archive requests cost 2 RU. Paid plans start at $49/month with 20M request units.

Mainnet chain ID is 42220, and the Celo Sepolia Testnet (chain ID 11142220) is available on Global Nodes. admin_* is not served. Debug and trace APIs are available on paid plans (Global Node or Dedicated Node) and cost 2 RU on Global Nodes. Recommended libraries are ethers.js for JavaScript and web3.py for Python. Full requests cost 1 RU, and EVM state methods such as eth_call そして eth_getBalance on blocks 127 or more behind the tip are archive-depth and cost 2 RU.
