Learn more about Stable
What is Stable?
Stable is an EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain purpose-built for stablecoin finance, using USDT0 as the native gas token. The network is optimized for stablecoin payments, settlement, and dollar-denominated onchain applications, with standard Ethereum tooling and JSON-RPC compatibility.
How do I get a Stable RPC endpoint?
Create a free Chainstack account and sign in. Click Add node, select Stable, choose Mainnet, and deploy a Global Node. When the node is running, open Access and credentials to copy the HTTPS and WebSocket endpoints.
What is the difference between a Stable Global Node and a Dedicated Node?
A Stable Global Node provides shared, auto-scaling RPC access through geo-balanced infrastructure. Dedicated Nodes for Stable are not yet available on Chainstack — send a request through the form above to let us know your requirements.
Does Stable use a native token?
Stable uses USDT0 as the native gas token — a dollar-denominated stablecoin. Developers pay fees in USDT0 rather than a volatile native asset, which keeps transaction costs predictable and dollar-denominated.
Is the Stable RPC API compatible with Ethereum?
Yes. Stable is fully EVM-compatible and supports standard Ethereum JSON-RPC. Solidity contracts deploy without modification, and developers can use familiar tools such as Hardhat, Foundry, ethers.js, viem, and Remix.
What are the uptime and performance guarantees?
Chainstack Global Nodes are built for highly available, low-latency production access with geo-balanced routing across regions.
How can I monitor Stable node usage and performance?
Use node analytics on Chainstack to track request volume, response time, and node health from one place.

Notes for Stable API

Stable is an EVM-compatible Layer 1 running a geth-family client (stabled). Use ethers.js or viem for JavaScript, web3.py for Python. Stable Mainnet uses chain ID 988 (0x3dc) with USDT0 as the native gas token. Native USDT0 uses 18 decimals for gas and value transfers; its ERC-20 interface uses 6 decimals for app-level transfers — same underlying balance. Available RPC namespaces: debug, eth, net, txpool, web3. Archive access, WebSocket subscriptions, and debug_traceCall are supported; trace_* namespace methods are not available on this client.

You can also access Stable through the Chainstack MCP server — query onchain data, deploy nodes, and search Chainstack docs from Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, ChatGPT, Codex, Pi, Gemini, or any MCP-compatible or SKILL-compatible AI agent.
