Solana is now available on Chainstack Self-Hosted

Solana joins Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Robinhood Chain, TRON, Bitcoin, and Hyperliquid on Chainstack Self-Hosted’s growing protocol list. Same workflow as every other protocol on the platform: pick Solana in the deployment wizard, pick your network, deploy.

With Solana Mainnet and Devnet now added, Chainstack Self-Hosted supports 30 protocols across 60 network deployments (protocol + network combinations). Full catalog: supported clients and protocols.

What ships

• Non-voting RPC nodes on the Agave client, for both Mainnet and Devnet
• Snapshot-based bootstrap, so you’re not syncing from genesis
• The same lifecycle management every Self-Hosted node gets — health checks, updates, self-healing, endpoint exposure — through the Control Panel or cpctl

Validator support is on the roadmap, following the same pattern as other protocols on the platform.

One thing to get right: the hardware

Solana is less forgiving of undersized infrastructure than most chains we support. The Agave client’s own requirements call for real hardware — high clock-speed CPUs, up to 512 GB of RAM once account indexing is enabled, and accounts/ledger split across separate NVMe drives. Undersize any of these and a node doesn’t slow down gracefully — it falls behind and stays behind.
