Sui何ですか？

Sui is a Layer 1 blockchain from Mysten Labs built on the Move language and an object-centric data model. Assets are objects with their own IDs and versions, so transactions on independent objects run in parallel, and state is finalized in checkpoints. That design suits gaming, DeFi, and payments workloads.

How do I get a Sui RPC endpoint?

Create a free Chainstack account and sign in. Click Add node, select Sui, choose Mainnet or Testnet, and deploy a Global Node or Dedicated Node. When the node is running, open Access and credentials to copy your HTTPS endpoint and x-token; the gRPC endpoint is sui-mainnet.core.chainstack.com:443.

What is the difference between a Sui Global Node and a Dedicated Node?

A Global Node provides shared, auto-scaling RPC access through geo-balanced infrastructure, available on every plan. A Dedicated Node provides isolated, single-tenant infrastructure with predictable performance and greater control over node configuration. Global Nodes serve JSON-RPC, gRPC, and, on Mainnet, GraphQL.

Which Sui APIs does Chainstack support, and what happens to JSON-RPC?

Your Chainstack Sui node serves gRPC, JSON-RPC, and (on Mainnet Global Nodes) GraphQL on the same endpoint. Sui Foundation’s public endpoints no longer serve JSON-RPC, and Sui removes JSON-RPC from the full node code in mid-October 2026, so build new integrations on gRPC and GraphQL and port existing calls with the migration guide.

Is the Sui RPC API compatible with Ethereum?

No. Sui is not EVM-based and does not serve the eth_* interface. It uses its own object-centric API over gRPC, GraphQL, and JSON-RPC. Use the official @mysten/sui TypeScript SDK (version 2.16 or later for gRPC), pysui for Python, or the Rust and Go SDKs rather than an EVM library.

What is the native token on Sui?

SUI is the native token. It pays for gas and is used for staking. You can top up your Chainstack balance with 150+ cryptocurrencies.

Is the Sui RPC free?

Yes. The Developer plan is $0 and includes 3M request units per month at up to 25 requests per second. Every Sui request, whether gRPC, GraphQL, or JSON-RPC, costs 1 request unit, and paid plans start at $49/month with 20M request units.

Can I run my own Sui node?

Notes for Sui API

Sui uses its own object-centric API, not the Ethereum eth_* interface. Your Chainstack Sui node serves gRPC (sui-mainnet.core.chainstack.com:443, with the x-token header), JSON-RPC over HTTPS, and, on Mainnet Global Nodes, GraphQL at YOUR_CHAINSTACK_ENDPOINT/graphql, all on the same node. Sui removes JSON-RPC from the full node code in mid-October 2026, so build new integrations on gRPC and GraphQL. gRPC streaming is documented for checkpoints (SubscribeCheckpoints), and GraphQL has no subscriptions. Recommended libraries are @mysten/sui 2.16 or later for TypeScript and pysui for Python. Every request, whether gRPC, GraphQL, or JSON-RPC, costs 1 request unit.
