Use eth_getLogs to retrieve historical Transfer events and WebSocket subscriptions for live contract logs. eth_getBalance returns native XPL, not USDT. No. Plasma’s zero-fee USDT transfer feature uses specific authorization-based payment routes; it does not make every ERC-20 transfer or smart contract call free. The official mainnet rollout initially limited these routes to Plasma’s own products. Standard transactions use XPL for gas. Check the current Plasma network fee documentation and zero-fee transfer rollout before designing a payment flow.
Yes. Chainstack Plasma nodes provide WebSocket endpoints alongside HTTPS JSON-RPC. Use subscriptions to receive new blocks and contract logs without repeated polling.
