Connect to Zcash Mainnet and Testnet through geo-balanced infrastructure that scales with request volume and routes traffic for reliable access across regions, with Bitcoin-style JSON-RPC over HTTPS.
Run Zcash workloads on isolated Zebra infrastructure across all Chainstack locations, with single-tenant resources and greater control over node configuration.
Build with managed Zcash endpoints on Mainnet and Testnet. Every node runs Zebra, the Zcash Foundation’s Rust node, serves Bitcoin-style JSON-RPC over HTTPS and transparent transaction history from the first block. WebSocket is not supported.
Zertifiziert nach SOC 2 Typ II und ISO 27001.
Chainstack runs Zebra, which replaced zcashd after its end of support in July 2026, so you get the supported node implementation without operating it yourself.
Use getblockchaininfo, getblock, getrawtransaction, and sendrawtransaction for chain data and transaction broadcast. Any Bitcoin-style JSON-RPC client works.
Look up the balance, transaction history, and unspent outputs of transparent addresses with getaddressbalance, getaddresstxids, and getaddressutxos, without running an indexer.
Zcash nodes run in Full mode and serve transparent transaction history from the first block. Every request is billed as full at 1 request unit, with no archive split.
Zebra is a node, not a wallet. Build and sign transactions, including shielded ones, with a wallet or Zcash SDK, then broadcast them through sendrawtransaction. For wallet sync, Zebra serves Sapling and Orchard tree state through z_gettreestate and z_getsubtreesbyindex.
Copy your endpoint from Access and credentials in the console, then run any of these.

Keep infrastructure costs predictable as wallet and exchange traffic grows.
Run Zcash workloads on production-grade infrastructure with stable latency, predictable capacity, and reliable resources on Chainstack.
Nutzen Sie isolierte Infrastruktur für Produktions-Workloads, die vorhersehbare Ressourcen, erweiterte Konfigurationsmöglichkeiten und konsistente Leistung bei hoher Skalierbarkeit erfordern.
Zcash uses a Bitcoin-style JSON-RPC API over HTTPS, not Ethereum JSON-RPC, and WebSocket is not supported. Chainstack nodes run Zebra (zebrad), which replaced zcashd after its end of support in July 2026. The standard method set is available, including getblockchaininfo, getblock, getrawtransaction, sendrawtransaction, getaddressbalance, getaddresstxids, and getaddressutxos. Zcash nodes run in Full mode and serve transparent transaction history from the first block, and every request is billed as full. Shielded pool state is available through z_gettreestate, z_getsubtreesbyindex, z_validateaddress, and z_listunifiedreceivers. Node-admin and mining-submission methods (stop, addnode, generate, invalidateblock, reconsiderblock, submitblock, and getblocktemplate) are not exposed, and Blockbook-style bb_* methods are not included. Dedicated Nodes can also run lightwalletd for light wallet clients. Zebra does not hold keys, so use a Zcash wallet SDK to build and sign transactions.
You can also access Zcash through the Chainstack MCP server — query onchain data, deploy nodes, and search Chainstack docs from Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, ChatGPT, Codex, Pi, Gemini, or any MCP-compatible or SKILL-compatible AI agent.
