We’re excited to announce that Chainstack now supports Elysium — a high-throughput Arbitrum Orbit Layer 2 built by Kinetiq that settles to HyperEVM and runs co-located with HyperCore. Starting today, you can deploy production-ready Elysium Testnet nodes on Chainstack as Global or Dedicated deployments.
Why build on Elysium?
Elysium is a general-purpose, high-performance DeFi chain built by Kinetiq for the Hyperliquid ecosystem. Instead of settling to Ethereum like most Arbitrum Orbit chains, Elysium settles to HyperEVM and runs co-located with HyperCore — giving trading applications direct access to Hyperliquid’s market data and execution environment (see the Elysium docs).
- Built for Hyperliquid-native trading: high-frequency trading and professional market-making AMMs are the flagship use cases, with quote refreshes up to 5–10 times a second — though the chain is general-purpose EVM underneath, so any standard DeFi application runs on it too.
- Arbitrum Orbit architecture: Elysium runs Arbitrum Nitro, the same client that powers Arbitrum One, giving builders full EVM compatibility — unmodified Solidity and Vyper contracts, and familiar tooling like Hardhat, Foundry, ethers.js, and viem.
- HyperEVM settlement, not Ethereum: a single sequencer orders transactions by priority fee with no privileged lanes, data availability runs through an AnyTrust committee, and HYPE is the native gas token, bridged 1:1 from HyperEVM.
- Built for speed: a 100–200 ms block-time design ceiling and a 300 Mgas/s execution target — roughly 100x HyperEVM’s own throughput.
- Testnet only, for now: Elysium Testnet (chain ID 99801) has been live since September 22, 2026. Elysium Mainnet hasn’t launched yet — Chainstack will add Mainnet support once Kinetiq confirms a chain ID and launch date. (There’s also an unrelated, older chain called Elysium from Vulcan Forged — a separate project with no connection to this one.)
For developers, Elysium is the on-ramp to Hyperliquid’s trading infrastructure without leaving the EVM — standard Solidity contracts, standard JSON-RPC, and a chain designed from the ground up for sub-second execution.
Build better with Elysium on Chainstack
Running Elysium on Chainstack gives you reliable access and predictable performance for trading infrastructure, market-making bots, and general DeFi deployments. Chainstack provides:
- Global Nodes — geo-balanced RPC endpoints for scalable, low-latency access to Elysium Testnet
- Dedicated Nodes — isolated Nitro infrastructure across Chainstack locations, in Full or Archive mode, with full
txpoolanddebugaccess - Standard Ethereum JSON-RPC —
eth_*,net_*,web3_*, plusdebug_*on Archive/Debug tiers (Growth plan and above). Per-method availability is listed in the Elysium methods reference - HTTPS and WebSocket — both transports are live on Global Nodes, so you’re not limited to request/response polling
How to get started with Elysium on Chainstack
- Log in to the Chainstack console (or create an account)
- Create a new project
- Select Elysium as your blockchain protocol
- Choose Testnet, and pick Global for shared geo-balanced access or Dedicated for isolated resources
- Deploy the node
- Open Access and credentials and copy your HTTPS or WebSocket endpoint
Want the details first? See the Elysium methods reference for per-method availability, node clients for the Nitro setup, and regions and locations for where Elysium nodes run.
Bringing it all together
With support for Elysium, Chainstack extends its infrastructure coverage into the Hyperliquid ecosystem’s dedicated high-frequency trading Layer 2. Whether you’re building trading bots, market-making strategies, or general DeFi products, Chainstack provides the low-latency, production-grade RPC infrastructure to scale with confidence — and we’ll add Mainnet support once Kinetiq launches it.
